Subject: Nice Loser
On another note....don't judge the music on this site by the on-board player. I have downloaded some shows because I liked the venue or setlist and was pleasantly surprised by the difference in sound when I played it back on my home system. I DO appreciate the site and the fact that they let you sample the sound. Just keep in mind that there IS a difference.
That being said....download shows even if you don't think the sound is the greatest and then judge on your own system and keep or not. You'll be glad you did.
Subject: Not bad, but not the previousd night
This night is okay. It's not sucky, it's not outstanding. A decent night for a good band. There are definitely some miscues, and I do confess that while Chris Robinson can sing the old Pigpen tunes stronger than ANYBODY ELSE I've ever heard, his leaning heavily on the teleprompter still bugs me. Here Comes Sunshine, Cumberland, Hurricane and Caution with Big Brown were real standouts. The rest was okay, but felt uninspired. Perhaps they were tired after the previous night's fireworks.
Overall, I give it three stars. It was a nice enough evening, but about half of the set lacked passion. If you want the real deal from Chicago 2005, grab the previous evening's show; they delivered it so much on the 25th, listening to the crowd shower him with love before he begin his Donor Rap gives me goosebumps.
I wish Phil would release the DSBD of the 25th, even 6 years after the fact. It's a hell of a show.

Subject: oh yes, it's a soundboard
Once again, Phil shows who is the man by giving away the music. Rock on, bro!

Subject: GREAT!
Subject: Soundboard?
This has the "inside the tin can" quality that is more prone to an audience mic recording. It is not as clear as the NJPAC DSBD's
